Jeanne M. Spratlin-Carter
After graduation I worked for a bank for a year and then went to nursing school as follows: Washington Hospital Center, School of Nursing; Medical College of Georgia, Athens Campus BSN; Medical College of Georgia , Augusta Campus MSN; and The University ofGeorgia, Doctorate, Education and Counseling
I have held positions in nursing from staff nurse to Director of Nursing of a psychiatric hospital, and a brief time of teaching psychiatric nursing . Currently I am mostly retired but I work several times a week doing psychiatric evaluations for the state of Georgia and one day a week working on a medication research project at a local hospital.
I have been married twice and divorced twice. I had one child. My son was a licensed commercial pilot, flight engineer, and A&P mechanic. He was the very best part of my life. He passed away last fall from a sudden heart attack. He had no children. He was 44 years old when he died
I will be thinking of everyone and I hope you have a great time at the reunion.
